Answer:It really depends on what kind of headphones your daughter has. If she has a bluetooth connected (wirelessly connected) headphones, there should not be any problem.

Since the only physical connection you can have in this device is a USB-C connector, any connected headphone must be connected via USB-C. If you are using a wired headphone with a 3.5mm plug, there are USB-C to 3.5mm adapters that can be purchased. Same is true for a wired headphone with a lightning connector.
